2025/26 has been an exceptional year for the UKESF. We’re pleased to share our Impact Report, which showcases the impact our programmes, partnerships and community have made over the past year.
Alongside our flagship programmes – Primary Electronics, UKESF Scholarship and Girls into Electronics – we have delivered the UK Government funded Semiconductor: Skills, Talent and Education Programme (STEP), an important and effective early step in building a robust pipeline of skills into our sector.
We are proud that more young people, from primary aged pupils to sixth-formers, Electronics undergraduates and physicists, have had the opportunity to learn more about Electronics and the rewarding opportunities available to them.
Our highlights from the year include:
- A record number of applications for the UKESF Scholarship Scheme
- 307 students awarded a Semiconductor Talent Award, enabling them unique access to industry insights and skills development opportunities
- More than 580 girls attending Girls into Electronics events at 15 universities nationwide
- 196 primary school classes supported through our Primary Electronics programme
A big thank you to our generous sponsors, university partners, employers and volunteers, as well as to the students, scholars and educators who make our programmes possible. Your support, commitment and enthusiasm are helping us inspire the next generation of Electronics talent.
