Information about making the most of your Scholarship
“The UKESF Scholarship Programme has genuinely changed my life. Acquiring industry experience is a vital part of higher education, especially within such rapidly evolving fields as electronic engineering, so I’d wholeheartedly recommend applying for a UKESF Scholarship”
UKESF Scholar 2020-2023
The award winning UKESF Scholarship Scheme has been designed in collaboration with leading employers to support undergraduates to gain experience and develop the skills they need to thrive in Electronics.
Each year, many prestigious Electronics and Technology employers offer UKESF Scholarships to undergraduates from our 29 partner universities. Students awarded a UKESF Scholarship are supported throughout their degree with an annual bursary, paid work experience, professional development and networking opportunities.
What’s more, 93% of UKESF Scholars, who have completed their studies, have gone on to secure jobs in the Electronics and Technology sectors.
In 2022, our Scholarship Scheme was awarded a prestigious Princess Royal Training Award, testament to the valuable work experience that our network of employers provides, and the in-depth wrap-around support that helps undergraduates to thrive when they enter the workplace.
