SCHOOLS

The UKESF has a mission: we want to make sure that more schoolchildren, parents and teachers are aware of Electronics and the exciting opportunities available.

"The problem solving, the creativity, that feeling you get when you see an idea that existed only in your mind ... as a tangible entity that functions exactly as you designed it."

Guest blogger Emma on the best thing about being an Engineer ('Where are the queues for the loos?')

To do this we support a range of educational Electronics-focused activities for students of school age through to university, inspiring young people with hands-on experience and connecting them with major employers in the sector.

We also rely on our best resource – our UKESF scholars – to encourage the next generation of Electronics undergraduates by demystifying the subject and relating the lessons they’ve learned from their own experiences.
