What you could be doing during your work placement
You will be working in our Bristol office, most likely within the Silicon Design team. Key responsibilities include:
- Understanding systemverilog design flow
- Working with Silicon Infrastructure team to create CI
- Owning one more blocks for the current chip development
- Creating tooling for regression checks
- Contributing to opensource code
- Help with silicon bring up in Bristol lab
Some key requirements for this role include:
- Problem solving skills
- Good communication skills (a lot of colleagues work remotely)
- Proficiency in python, shell, make
- Exposure to version systems like git
- Exposure to silicon design and systemverilog
- Exposure to lab equipment like oscilloscopes
- Exposure to EDA toolchain
