Mark Prisk, the Minister of State for Business and Enterprise in the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) met Adam Malpass the first UKESF scholar of the year, during his visit to the Electronics Showcase at BIS this week.

The latest in innovative, high tech electronics has been showcasing the very best of British manufacturing at BIS in Westminster. UK-designed and manufactured electronics and components have been displayed to highlight British expertise in this sector and the contribution that electronics makes to the economy.

Adam recently received the first annual UKESF Scholar of the Year Award. He is a final year student reading electronic engineering (MEng) at the University of Southampton and his UKESF Scholarship is sponsored by Dialog Semiconductor.
